Milton Ray, III

Milton Ray, III is married to Mrs. Chaqueta Weston-Ray. He has two sons, Damarius and Dezmond Ray.  Mr. Ray is honored to serve as the head principal of Pascagoula High School. He previously served as principal for North Gulfport Elementary & Middle School (K-8) and Crossroads Elementary School (K-6). 


Mr. Ray completed the University of Mississippi Principal Corps program. He received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi Valley State University and his master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Mississippi. 


He began his career in education as a mathematics instructor, head basketball coach, and head track coach at S.V. Marshall High School in Tchula, Mississippi. During his tenure, he was named Teacher of the Year in 2008-2009 and again in 2009-2010. 


Mr. Ray also served as a math instructor and head basketball coach at Forest Hill High School in Jackson, Mississippi. Then, Mr. Ray moved to West Harrison High School in Gulfport, Mississippi and accepted the positions of head basketball coach and physical education instructor.


Mr. Ray was selected as a 2015-2016 North/South All-Star Basketball Coach. Additionally, he was named Farm Bureau Coach of the Year while coaching at West Harrison High.
