The week of October 23 will be Homecoming spirit week. Monday is Justice League and Avengers or any superhero or villain. Tuesday is The Patriot so wear red, white & blue. Wednesday is a Day at the Movies. Freshmen will dress like Pirates of the Caribbean, Sophomores like characters from Toy Story, Juniors like Moana, and Seniors will dress like characters from Hercules. Thursday is Back to the Future, so dress as your favorite decade from the past. Finally, Friday is High School Musical so wear your Homecoming shirts with jeans.

Due to potential inclement weather, the presentation of the PHS Homecoming Court has been moved to 6:25 pm on Friday, October 27th. This is during the pre-game events.

The Homecoming parade will have a new route this year. The parade will end downtown for a community pep rally block party. The parade will begin at 5:30 pm with the block party starting at 6:45pm and ending at 9pm.

Yearbooks will on sale for one day, Wednesday Oct. 25 during all lunches. The price will drop to the registration price of $65.

All PGSD employees scheduled to work Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, should report to their respective schools/departments tomorrow morning for a regular work day. Supt. Wayne Rodolfich, Maintenance Director Weber Parker and Child Nutrition Director Ashley Harris have been to each site with only minor leakage or power outages reported at this time. If you received extensive damage from the storm, please notify your principal or department head.
