About Me
My name is Rachel Jernigan, and I've been teaching English at PHS for thirteen years now. Currently, I teach Honors English II and Year-Long English II, but I've taught just about every English class we offer at some point in my career.
I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelor's degree in English/Secondary Education and the University of West Alabama with a master's degree in Library Media. Pascagoula High School has been my home for over a decade, and I've loved every minute of it!
My husband Mike and I have three kids--Caleb (17), Harmony (16), and Elizabeth (10). A few random facts about me: I'm super nerdy and am obsessed with all things Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Jane Austen, and any type of dystopian YA.
