WEATHER & ATHLETICS UPDATE: TROPICAL STORM ISAIAS

Dear PGSD Families, Staff, and Community,

Although schools and district offices remain closed through the end of the week for Fall Break, district leadership is actively monitoring weather updates and potential impacts from Tropical Storm Isaias.

To ensure the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, and families, the following schedule changes have been made for varsity football:

• Pascagoula @ Picayune: Moved to Thursday night
• Gautier @ Long Beach: Moved to Thursday night

We extend our sincere thanks to our administrators, office staff, custodians, and maintenance personnel for their proactive hard work in preparing and securing our facilities ahead of potential inclement weather.

We encourage all families to take proper precautions and stay safe during the storm. District leadership will continue to issue weather updates as needed.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus for the start of the second term on Monday, October 12.
